It’s been a while since I’ve posted some of my work, and it feels like it’s been ages since I actually made anything. In reality, it’s only been a couple of weeks but it still feels like my brain has been hibernating for a long, long time…and actually, now that I think of it, I did make some ATCs this weekend. It still feels like my brain has been sleeping, though, probably because I didn’t want to face the difficulties of doing anything and spent a good chunk of time reading to escape thinking. Sad, huh?
These are two mixed media ATCs I mailed out yesterday for a swap hosted by Katxena at a now-defunct mail art site (long story involving an asshole that’s [and who's] not worth our time). The design is borrowed from a collage I did last year. Add thread and I’m in heaven.
Those are simple yet elegant. I really like them! I found a Deco that belongs to you in a drawer the other day. I did a page and now have to find someone to send it to! I have a finished one too - that’s not yours - and the person who it belongs to never answered my emails. Is there a home for unwanted decos?
