I’ve got a bad case of the low-grade yuck (my niece and nephews are the cutest little trojan horses), so all I’m posting today are two pictures of my drawstring pouch. I also washed fabric to make some more of these tomorrow. As Ptichka declared: “The sewing machine has created a monster.”

Lovely! These would make great reusable gift bags for the holidays. Congrats on your sewing addiction. I’ve been away from my machine for too long, but once you get started it is hard to stop!

Jennifer: Thank you! To be honest, my very first sewing project evah was a locker caddy in grade seven home ec. It sucked. This is my first willing-as-an-adult sewing project (other than a half-finished skirt).
Kirsten: Thanks! I love the idea of reusable gift bags. Ptichka and I will be hitting the after-Christmas sales for holiday fabric and churning out a bunch of these to use next year.
